The Rendezvous Jacket is a V-necked, zip-front hooded jacket inspired by an original vintage example from the late 30s.
The fully lined jacket is cropped to waist length, with a fitted, shaped midriff and pointed, waistcoat-style hem in front. Bust shaping is provided by shoulder dart and underbust gathers.
The long or three-quarter sleeve features a darted sleeve cape for that early-to-mid-40s style strong shoulder. The jacket is also compatible with all three sleeve variations from the Démoiselle dress to further expand your styling options.
The hood has an oversize, rounded shape and extends to the V-shaped neckline, so when not in use it drapes over the shoulders. The hood is also interchangeable with the collar from the Démoiselle dress, and look out for the sailor collar expansion, a special bonus for Aficionado patrons.
Its cropped length makes the Rendezvous Jacket a perfect layering piece over dresses or skirts - try it with the Daytripper or Promenade dress. Line the jacket in fabric to match your dress for a fabulous coordinated ensemble. Add a matching skirt in your jacket fabric (maybe the Sightseeing or Home Front skirt) and you have an instant three-season capsule wardrobe!
